Special Sponsor Events
The “21st Century Tour” landings, press receptions and other
events will be scheduled for key markets based on sponsor needs. Attendance
will offer the chance to experience totally unique events executed and
enjoyed by enthusiasts and consumers audiences at various geographic points
around the U.S.
The Wright Brothers 21st Century Tour® will be featured at airshows
as they make their way to Kitty Hawk. Special events are planned for the
following markets:
1. Sponsor Coupon Drop in Major Markets
2. First Flight Centennial Celebration
3. Flight Ride-Along
4. Corporate Receptions
5. Special Fly-Ins
Sponsor Support
The number of sponsors are limited so each can take an active role in
the
shaping of the tour as it evolves with direct input to both the hospitality
and special events, and where appropriate, logistics planning. Each sponsor
will be kept abreast of developments through comprehensive updates of
the event progress and two account executives will be in place dedicated
to performing sponsor support services.
Ongoing Sponsor PR and Promotions
Aggressive public relations effort will be made including local and national
wire service features, B-roll footage, web site promotions, local media
coverage, national media coverage, press kits, consumer brochures, etc.
TV news reports and a motion picture tie-in are in the process of being
pitched to network and cable producers. City and state officials will
be contacted in each of the
key markets.
