An Epic Journey
Civil aviation enthusiasts Jerry & Jimmy Wright will celebrate 100 years of aviation history by becoming the first pilots to take off and land at all 3,805 U.S. hard surfaced airports. This unprecedented, 12 to 24-month epic journey will attract the attention of the entire civil aviation industry, major print and broadcast news and millions of consumers. The final stop will be Kitty Hawk, NC in December 2003, for the First Flight Centennial Celebration,® commemorating the first flight made by Wilbur and Orville Wright. This world record tour will require thousands of miles, ground personnel, individual donors, and up to 4 to 6 corporate sponsors. The Piper Cherokee aircraft will be offered to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC when the journey is completed.

A national marketing and public relations firm has been retained to ensure official tour sponsors receive the advertising, PR, materials and promotional opportunities needed to make their involvement a resounding success.
