NORTH LAS VEGAS VGT LAS VEGAS, NV

Towered, clean and close to the "strip", and yet away from the hassle and expense of McCarran. Yes, it IS a cab-ride away but that's offset by $5 tie-down fee(singles), compared to $50 at McCarran, who also tacks on handling fees if you don't buy fuel to the tune of $35 to $110. The food at the Flight Deck Restaurant is adequate, if not fine. I enjoyed the environment. Nice place. Fuel is cheaper too. Easy approaches from both southwest and southeast(Rocks Route and Showboat Route)
